Car weighs 1800kg so sloppy back quite a bit more than the previous F11 and well over 200kg more than the E61

After much discontent in a short time with the previous F11 to cases come with a Dusseldorp 525XD 2013 with the following specs:

-M package
-20 inch M550 wheels
-carbonschwarz with black leather
-head up
-panoramadak
-comfort access
-navi prof
Hi-Fi
-grootlicht assistant
-adaptive lights
-Black kidneys
-Connected services
etc. etc.

yet just a tad fuller than the other, and two years younger. Good thick execution again.

Get:
Weather cloth car covers, which do not need me. First the paperwork.
Like the E61 before, rediscovered this beautiful execution in Dusseldorp. When a great good experience with the vendor Kim there. Unfortunately, this 'pinched' by Porsche, which now helped by the successor who got away at Volkswagen.
Apparently, they do things differently there, because this was of little level. Because of my case, I am sensitive to, and the amateurish errors are a thing if Dusseldorp unworthy. Wrong proposals sums were wrong, exchange bill until months later when formal first seen?!?! and so on.
Very unfortunate, since it is not a bag of chips and this does not benefit the brand experience. Not calling after, just send an email or car suits me. When you indicate what is not good at, you hear nothing .... Thither call callback also came to nothing. Want a complaint about this at BMW Netherlands, they will refer you back casually to the same dealer. Really sorry!

Then the car:
Well, he seems rather on the previous huh. Yet I have set up all hope on the Xdrive order to get my so ardently desired BMW steering feel. Without this I think it is the much higher cost (ie aggregation) not worth it honestly. Again not test driven so fast showroom and back home.

and yes! same specs and really another car! Steering is back to normal, a lot of feeling and no longer searching for the zero position. No adjustments needed and therefore a relief on the highway. Comes naturally to that four-wheel drive ensures that he drives like on rails. So relieved!

The Xdrive is he does a little higher, I do not like, but it runs finer. Especially when thresholds etc. it graze the front bumper now no longer the case. The planned reduction has been postponed.

What is very striking is that the seats are the same as the previous F11, but feel much better and so are finer. My back is very sensitive to this so pleasantly surprised. The same applies to the HiFi active speakers. These were in the previous one, but now it's better and more sharper sounds. This could have to do with the navi or something? This version is also some newer and faster thereby. I think this is just the way software and immediately a point I really do not understand the BMW dealers; Such cars can still deliver just with the latest map version etc? easy tip to the previous F11 cards still came out in 2011 to distinguish seems so ..! People who buy detect these cars and appreciate these things.

Engine: nice touch is obviously the extra turbo diesel on the 2.0liter. The previous one was nice, but did not really have in comparison with the previous E61 that less kilos had to carry around.
I had not been too much of suggested, but in this area I am pleasantly surprised at the eagerness with which the engine climbs through the speed and especially the construction of power at the top of the speed is delicious. He hangs better on gas and is much faster. The combination with the 8-speed automatic is as it should be. Butter Soft switches it through the back and move at a speed that suits the character of the engine. Again such a striking difference; same machine and it seems version 2.0 compared to the predecessor. Nintendo switching speed and you feel nothing, no shocks no hiccups. perfect!

Gadgets:
as indicated there is still a bit more, not something I would choose, but I can now choose how you like it.
-adaptive lights; This was also the last, and is completely unnecessary unless you live in the middle of nowhere.
-grootlicht assistant; several times tried, but also a waste of money. Works, but on the highway so unnecessary.
-Connected services; spotify now runs through idrive. This is great! as obdurate spotify fan this is a great addition for me.
-head up display: super cute gadget you would think, but in real life I never use it, after 3 months I have noticed that I have to remind me that I can see it all in my windshield.
-Limit info. it costs almost nothing to new order and is very convenient, to the nearest meter turns this system and gives the limit for the part where you drive. Ideal!
-comfort Access: This I would never order, but by now miss as there would be no more. Because the key still nowhere inhoeft BMW to start, it is extremely convenient that you can leave and can end with a finger on the door handle you key in your bag / briefcase. If you keep your finger on the mirrors 2 seconds on the latch hits and will close the sunroof. insert your hand into the door handle opens the car. Not need all that, but you get used quickly.

Best gadget is the panorama; This is really big, opens wide and was again delicious. this had a few cars, and had forgotten how good it is. Lighter inside, especially in combination with the dark sky, and it feels more spacious to. From now again a requirement ingratitude extra kg's.

Car weighs 1800kg so sloppy back quite a bit more than the previous F11 and well over 200kg more than the E61 (the benchmark for me). this is the 218pk the twin turbo diesel now also not certain excess. Hartge boodt happy a wonderful solution; 280pk and approximately 550nm. thus the car is perfect for me. more than enough power and speed. he directs and drives like a dream, really feels again like a BMW and smoelt also very thick!

DEMERITS:
-enige fault I have, I do not belong to the car, but in this case the dealer Dusseldorp. I have never been given a car that polished so bad. Really all seams and cracks down ramvol with white polish. Now, three months later, I have not finished yet. So you can give no car.
-the 20inch rims I find the most beautiful that can be given, but again it damage upon delivery. This while Volkswagen coppers have told me that they always show proper condition before delivery. Blablabla so.
-thick scratch on the navi screen. here the previous owner has deposited his keys or so, but this is so damaged that the dealer can not deliver so I think. BMW Netherlands with its high control requirements and checklists this is not free.
-deukje at the tank valve. After few days I'll be on that side of the car and from certain angle you sit here dent. Missed by the dealer.
ashtray / cup holder squeaks like crazy. Super annoying! Also reported in Dusseldorp, but again no answer. Now put yourself between something so that there is absolute calm on board.

Unfortunately I drive suddenly a lot less, about 7000km in three months, but now enjoy it again every km, I am very happy with the Xdrive which has reduced the steering pleasure again.
On to the next update, or review.

The silent Diesel provides a great power and the number goes up to just above the 190 and which is higher than the specifications

After ten days Fiesta drive, I have a feeling Fiesta. My previous cars were Lexus, Prius, Focus, Alfa Romeo, VW, Opel and so another half dozen = lease and rental baking ranging from Dodge, from Audi to Seat. Moreover; I've never had a car, always rented and lease cars.

On my order new lease list was also a Citroen Cactus. That car fit nicely in name in line focus, Prius and Lexus, but the delivery of the cactus was unclear and I found the dashboard too ugly and too simple, in terms of interior similar models of the 60s many French cars. Altogether gave the car a feeling that I was looking for. The appearance, however, that I find original and a little Rivella. Strange, but nice.

So it was the Ford Fiesta 1.5 diesel with bells and whistles and "only" 14% addition for the delivery of 01 01 2016 / (Our Government would continue to seek money from the workers and I refuse to pay 20% of Rutte and companions).

First motor. The silent Diesel provides a great power and the number goes up to just above the 190 and which is higher than the specifications. Because I live in Germany, is 190 not unusual speed. Overall I am satisfied, moreover, a driver 140 km / h are not unhappy with this size car. But I'm looking mainly to increase in the ability to overtake and it does this reasonably well and Fiesta're 100% better than the rent Polo I had before. In which, for the highway totally unsuitable caddy, the power was completely gone at any speed above 95 km / h.
No, this Fiesta. The engine will work and I expect the next few months the performance is even better.
The car is stable, quiet and comfortable. But you also may well expect for an optical small car of almost € 21,000 with a lowered suspension and m too small, but wide tires.
What goodies one would expect for this price? Light and rain sensors, heated and electrically folding mirrors, park assist, electronic dimming mirror (which works very well), keyless access and closure, navigation (in multiple ways adjustable), voice control phone ... You feel him already; I speak in the name of people I want to call and the connection is quickly established (according to those who I called very audible) Illuminations in the cup holders and the box under the futuristic dashboard, a Sony sound system, 12-volt connections , USB, additional antenna, start / stop system, and so on.

Pleasantly sporty and sturdy chairs. A nice lumbar support and fortunately no French-style soft seats. Four weeks rent Polo gave back problems and after two days Fiesta those complaints away and that's no coincidence.

Real drawbacks I have not yet experienced after 2850 kilometers. A weaker point I find the switch. Not as razor sharp as in which I so detested and highly recommend Polo 1.2 diesel off. In that caddy cut Poker or in the next gear.
The Fiesta has just too much space if one wants to switch. Just too much space means that one must turn very conscious not to miss work and I think that a miss. Ford can and should be this much, much better. Finally, we are living in 2015 and not in 1990, the year I first drove a Fiesta and after 40,000 Poker had in my hands, literally; Poker was loose and had to remove himself from the shaft and that is a very bad feeling.
Curiously, there appears now to be a margin should have been observing and correcting long at Ford. For € 21,000 can I expect that poker disable cuts a Teutonic long sword. This Ford is indeed manufactured in Germany and one had the feeling quality must fulfill all a generation ago. I can not imagine in any case that the engineers who were developing the clutch 100% satisfied with the result. I give the link a meager 7.

The appearance is nice. The front of the chrome grille and the LED lighting exudes something of force. But then again who matte back .... The first Ford Focus Wagon had that too. A sharply cut front and by wimps invented soft and spineless back. It is the designers or producers also succeeded here again. A well-cut front side and an anonymous, almost clumsy, back. My question to Ford: "Using two different designers for the front and back"? If so; absolve the latter than on the spot, because this is not a design, it is a cowardly attempt on a gentle Friday to deliver a butt-design and therefore also get paid. Put the rear with a more powerful appearance at least 30 cm higher and cut horizontally until they reach a part of the side. LED bulbs there and lengthen the bumper with at least 5 centimeters. The rear spoiler is deeper and tighter. Then this Fiesta wins optically much more.

But the ultimate question is; I am satisfied after some 3000 km in ten days?
Yes, I'm surprised satisfied with this car that is my companion for the next three years. I have high expectations and which are already largely fulfilled now.

The driving characteristics I find very comfortable, in town this is a nice nimble car

I Croma bought in 2009 with a mileage of 86500. After 10.000km have driven around carelessly can say that this car suits me well. The equipment is very large to mention, including automatic climate control, parking sensors, Automat.inside mirror, autom. folding mirrors, 2 height-adjustable seats with lumbar support, ESP, ASR, hill holder, seven airbags etc. The driving characteristics I find very comfortable, in town this is a nice nimble car (still 4.76 m. long) on the highway a real road hog! Tasty basking cruising and do watch the speedometer, the car is very quiet even at high speeds.

Motor considering the 150 hp, the car very well, the manual six container is well in hand and you absolutely never get the feeling too short. The car pulls well, and is shifting gear to drive, thanks to these fine diesel car is very comfortable.

As for reliability, I have in the 10.000km I drove it I can not find one fault or rattle.
Since the car already has almost got the 100.000km I can mention that the reliability of Fiat is very good. (Just like my previous Fiats).

I average consumption around 1:14 á 1:16 on the shorter trips, on longer motorway journeys consumption is above 1:17 (+/- 130-140km / h).
The space in the car is fantastic, with a young family with two children, the boot big enough, the rear area is above average in its class and the front of the car is very good place.
Actually I can not say anything bad about this car lost, and I'm very satisfied, this car does still far away!

Mileage: 96500
since 86500 km:
Av. consumption: 1: 15.5
Faults: No
Mechanic: No
Maintenance: 93,000 at four new all-season tires
continuation of my Croma (106.000 km)

Meanwhile exceeded 100.000, 105.000 in the car asked if I wanted to leave the oil verversen.Dat so I just let you do. Upon verification showed that the Croma 45.000km had driven with the oil, given the many short trips that I make with the car I'm over here very satisfied!

The regular 30.000km turn, according to the car over about 10.000km happen so I assume he does not need previously to visit the garage.

On a longer trip through the UK I came back again, what a perfect trip car, consumption approx. 1 to 17 at approx. 120 km / h over a distance of 600 km.

Yet had failures?
Yes, a broken headlight, both lamps but replaced immediately, because that is not the easiest job, so if you're at ...

Same here looked at the tires, there are now some 12.000km and wear pretty regularly off, I noticed along with the amount of wear for a still fairly heavy car, the all-season tires meet very good, am very curious about the bands at high temp. So wait.

No problems with the Fiat, even these remains for a while in my possession!
114,000 km

Meanwhile, the Croma has driven such 114000km.
Meanwhile been by car to France, and then it falls again on; very pleasant journey wagon, with the whole family plus roofbox about 1100km nice cruising.
Consumption me since all too bad, approx. 1 to 16 at a speed of 130-140 km / h. After six hours of driving conclussie was therefore "Gosh, we are already six hours on the road !?".
In the mountains I noticed that the car still some rolls on its axis at what made faster (hairpin) bends. Sometimes the car what would be nice to be comfortable, a little tighter chassis.

Soon the car will go to the garage for a turn (120000km), but that I think will cause no problems. Oil has the car, nothing replenished, but maybe a half a liter can be the better.

Repair and maintenance:
Yes, the right rear was sometimes difficult to open, was in the latch, and is resolved to everyone's satisfaction by the dealer.
After 110.000km brake pads for the 1st time for replacement. I find this very neat for such a fairly heavy car.

The car suits still outstanding, we hope to remain a while cruising in the limo!
Later.
Continued to 135000km (135,000 km)

Meanwhile, 135000km on the counter of the Croma, after 40000km substituted the all-season tires for winterset.
Unfortunately, the generator broke down at 117000km, there is then a nwe, custom dynamos come in, this problem is more common in the Croma (minus)
Great turn had at 120000km, no strange things encountered. At 125000km let assemble nwe stabillisator-end pieces, I find acceptable. Still very happy with the car, even during the holiday trip to Switzerland again enjoyed a comfortable car, with an average consumption between 1op15 and 1op17.
All in all very pleased with the Croma!
Continued croma (143.500 km)

Still very satisfied with the "moving room" of Fiat.
Last worked for the MOT, and unfortunately for the dealer, just skip the test.
Consumption is at around 1op16 average at relatively shortest distances. I have the feeling that this car will long remain in our possession. Shortly just before the turn back, then, confidently, on to the Czech Republic for the holidays! After the turn and holidays I will report it to me one more time again, hopefully with a dull but very contented report.
Continued review (160,000 km)

Meanwhile, the Croma has passed the 160.000km. Still very happy with the car, but had a few minor bugs, but actually allowed to have no name, the door handle back right now replaced, because in hot weather, the door hard to open the lock on the fuel tank cap is replaced because this did not close, flexible exhaust section had a small leak and was thus replaced.

Just made another journey totaling about 1,800 km to Scandinavia and came back behind the Croma in (sometimes very) winter conditions a very fine companion for the whole family, even at speeds of +/- 160 km / you with our eastern neighbors.

At 159.000km the message came that the car wanted to have new oil, meaning so that he 41.000km driving its oil last time the oil also replaced his turn 120.000km (118.000km).

If this continues then I have no reason to replace the car still (would not know what it should be).
Maintenance adhere tasty within bounds, just want to see the state do more and more ACT for our car, here the Croma obviously can not do anything.
So I close this sequel v / d review again with; Very satisfied!
175.500 km

Meanwhile drove the faithful Croma 175000 km. In the summer went with a caravan from 1400kg to Italy, which went very well.
What struck me during the ride home is how easy driving this car with such a caravan, have frequently used the cruise control because the max. speed was exceeded easily. Perfect car to drive home.
Before the holiday had some discomfort with the power steering, sometimes fell out, contact cleaned and problem solved.
Consumption of the Croma now remains at about 1op15 to 1op17.
The car may therefore remain for a while!
Weather 10.000km's there (185.000 km)

Currently, the counter again about 185000km.
Meanwhile a turn, including carry out MOT and yes Croma cycled back through the MOT at once. Turn carry, and a stabilizer end piece after, pounding what, nothing special found. Unfortunately I need to purchase or nwe winter next year, nwe rear discs, and a timing belt, but that's normal maintenance.
During the Easter holidays, the Croma brought us back to and through the UK, and of course without problems, soon we hope to go on summer vacation to his native country, and I expect to encounter any problems.
After the holidays I will continue my review.
Continued Review (193.500 km)

Meanwhile, the Croma has again allowed to make a trip to Italy, which is obviously again liked. Just before the holidays, the car still send out a so-called vacation check so we could again carefree rows on the Gotthard. During the Italian trip (with a lot of traffic driving) the car does not blow made a mistake.
After the holidays uttered the brakes themselves, there remained a brake pad, so it was almost burnt. (Happy to commute, which is not too far). Equal but replace both blocks.
Soon I hope to achieve with this 200.000km "limo" which will succeed me tight. Once 2ton removed is I sign again, to tell anyone about this very fine car.
Oh yes there is now called a stabilizer end piece for replacing

Started a TOYOYA Corolla 1.6 sport from 1988, when a to S2 specs converted Audi Coupe 2.3E

Started a TOYOYA Corolla 1.6 sport from 1988, when a to S2 specs converted Audi Coupe 2.3E, followed by a Mazda 323 Coupe 1.5 (where this forum is also a review of state), then a VW Golf Mark 2 1.6CL (world car !!!), a Mazda 323 sedan 1.5 LX (also a world car !!!), an Opel Corsa TR 1.3N (super fun car to drive but et rust problem .. ..zucht), when a BMW 525i automatic from the E34 series, followed by three Alfa Romeos namely a widebody 155 1.6 16V 1997, a 155 widebody 1600 engine trofeo 1996 and then the topper, a 164 3.0 V6 AUT off 1989 (sublime car).

And now there is a 155 under the old system, so small body, with the entry-level engine 1750 cc twin spark chain distribution. Truly a top engine. Much smoother than the 1600 16 clappers who came after, plus reliable distribution chain, no adjustable camshaft so no problems even with that. I have the most simple version with only heating and electric windows plus power steering. No aircon or ecc therefore it can not break up. It is a reliable and beautiful car to see. You see them all less, so something special. Road holding is fine even after the installation of auxiliary rear springs. Biggest plus is the flexible engine that provides good home at any speed, I can only say ... really really good. Furthermore, conventional or Alfa 155 brake ailments ... you should really inspect regularly and commonly make otherwise they begin to walk. And outlet now ordered all 2x. I also have the thermocouple of the heatsink bypassed by a switch on the dashboard in the car. Much more reliable !!! Oh .... also replaced again ... alfa 155 disease .... thermostat housing. But no other crazy things. I have the car fitted with a genuine mahogany dashboard, black leather upholstery, wooden Nardi steering wheel and CD changer unit.

In short ... reliable and comfortable travel car that you still do not need to be ashamed if you get to drive it. The looks stay beautiful and timeless and you can see the model little more drive.

September 29 was the day finally arrived, we could see our new Toledo 1.4 TDI Style Connect up at the dealership. The last car has always complied but this could surrendered after five years with the boss.
The budget was limited and the employer required a VAG group car or Volvo.
After a test ride in the V40 D2 showed that this car really was too small for my 1.97 meters.
After much looking around and specificities have assured read our choice fell on the Toledo 1.4 TDI Style Connect
Our choice for Toledo is based on the hugely spacious trunk combined with the rich equipment of the Style Connect implementation. It has become the 1.4TDI 1.6TDI fell because its additional cost of 2,000 euros out of our budget.

After 1 1/2 months and 8500km I can now confidently say that it was a good choice. The 1.4TDI turn off pretty easy when starting but here is get used to quickly. Furthermore, it is a fine motor that is not present in sound, until you really going to charge him. Then you hear him but never unpleasant. Flashy car is nice and quiet and a lot more comfortable than the previous car (Ibiza).
A ride 1150km to the Czech Republic was very doable. On the way the car is equally topped at 195kmh (hill).

The entertainment system also works very pleasant, nice clear menu structure and good sound. The radio also looking super fast stations.
The consumption data are also very nicely displayed and we find either that we use it to drive economically.

If I have to mention one drawback is that consumption is still very low when we fast consumption is coming up over 100kmh. As we sit regularly on the highway, this consumption is not good.
The average for the first 8200km is 1 in 17.85, but this includes 2300km hard drive in germany and the czech republic.
If I ride disregards the average 1 19.5.

I suspect that when the engine is slightly more powerful it much easier highway has speeds and can therefore more economical. When my private car was I had been to let him chip tuning, unfortunately that is not an option as the car of the matter.

The sunroof course not enjoy much, although we occasionally still had a nice day

23-10 my BMW 320dA EDE Executive (full throughout the mouth) to derive from the dealer in Breda. After a two-hour instruction (which was not bored), I was finally able to make my first km's. Well I can tell which were delicious. The options I have taken are:

First delivery. Whether it is BMW's own, or I'm struck by the dealer or the seller, but what a service. Nothing was too much. Regularly call if there were any questions, as if I was the only customer :) Really sincerely class! Very satisfied.

After two days I had to immediately to Germany, so the running was there already :) after 4 days
I have to say that sports seats, always do! I have seriously considered cutting back on it, but they are really delicious. After two hours no problems in the car. And plenty of adjustment options.
Then the machine, incredibly, a flexibility, a strength and always available. A wonderful car to drive quiet, but occasionally give some gas. Especially speeding remains a delightful experience. In the ECO Pro mode, which I had not really expected. But to give any substantial gas he must be out of this position. Then the machine does a stukkie float. But what fun is in the ECO Pro mode to maximize fuel efficiency. And in you will surely encouraged when you see how many km's profit you've earned back in your tank. The rollout capability really such a ruse. When you release the accelerator pedal while driving switches the bin directly to freedom, so he rolls much longer. Question even more so anticipate, but it works. Good find BMW! For me it works anyway.

The sunroof course not enjoy much, although we occasionally still had a nice day. But I still expect to experience much fun here. Just the amount of light inside the car is very spacious inside.

And finally, of course it is a very nice car. LCI has I find very beautiful LED light units, both front and back. and the interior is top notch. It will not be ahead of the Audi and Mercedes, but tasteful, solid finished, with everything in the right place and operate the iDrive intuitive.

Furthermore, of course, had no bugs or things. So for a while I will come back here to update the review.

I bought the car at the end of 2014 Sam van Dalen in Opmeer.
It is an Alfa Romeo 159 1.8 MPI engine here and distinctive version without leather seats and navigation, but also with everything on it.

Why this car? I drove now four Alfa Romeo, three ers 155 and a 164. Many driving fun but also a lot of maintenance and key fun.

My last car was a Renault Kangoo Express and for salaried I wanted again to drive something comfortable private.

I doubted between an Audi A4 sdan 2.4i from 2006 and a BMW 318i sedan in 2009.

Eventually crawls blood still where it can not go. So this beautiful Alfa bought in dark blue color, Oltromare Blu and with the light cream-colored upholstery. A very chic combination if I say so myself.

About this Alfa. Well .... Alfa Romeo is something special. The car gives you as a driver to feel special. It's just that little bit extra that driving a car is so much fun. It's a feeling. BMW power freude am fahren ... that's for sure but Alpha also gives some more feeling and passion with. You see it at all. The car's styling both inside and out. They can still only Italians. They understand what beautiful lines and how you can style interior in which you feel at home. Inside the car everything feels very solid and luxury. The metallic trim on the dashboard of real metal, plastic feels solid, the leather steering wheel is very comfortable to hold. The seats are also for long-honor people like myself (2.00mtr) really excellent. Ergonomically, everything except Dr. cruise control handle thick for each other. The stereo is super good. CD tje Eros Ramazotti in and enjoy. The board computer is very pleasant, beautiful clocks ... for oil temperature.

As for the engine ... this 1800 cc twin-cylinder Faser takes really silky and especially bottom smooth. 140 hp seems little for such a big heavy car like the 159 but because the engine already at 1500 rpm tasty picks you free gear changing and you're soon at 80 to 100 km per hour. You can use this engine come with excellent service, above average even. If you give the engine its thunder and retrieves until you see the red area 140 horses seem not quite to be in ... but that is because absence of a real punch. The motto ... just take it easy and upshift at 2500 rpm.

The handling is not like its predecessors 156 and 155 but much more mature. The 159 has really become a very comfortable touring car without compromising on firm behavior ... the handling is still above average and the borders are really very far. The coach is really super stiff.

What I'm really good on this car look is minimal interior noise. The car is really very quiet.

One drawback is the consumption. 1 in 12 is feasible, really much more economical, you can hardly save. 70 liter tank gives you a decent range, I drive about 800 km on a tank ... currently with these gasoline prices approximately 100 euros per refueling.

The luggage compartment is roomy but not exaggerated. The seating area in the front is great, the back is so so. Have a nice back seat to sit on, though.

In terms of maintenance, I can tell nothing about the car, I got it now 4 weeks. All in all, very solid feel. Seems excessive given the space under the large hood is also a nice car for a mechanic to tinker with.

Concrete ... real driver's car for people who drive cars and keep, good speed, very comfortable and gives you that special feeling that Alfa will give you alone.

Update November 2015.
I have been driven 25,000 km and the car like it is still very good. Every time I make glad the car denied me, and when I get out I always look back at her.

The car is maintained by Garage Werkhoven in Opmeer (owner Dick was once the best Alfa mechanic Netherlands). An excellent place if I say so myself.

Meanwhile let all four tires replaced with new Vredestein Sportrac 5 of Giugaro design. Very good tires, fit very well with the car. In design terms, and certainly in terms of driving.

Consumption is up for a B label car still somewhat disappointing, but good ... how much value you have now actually adhere to such a label?
An average of between 1 in 11 and 1 in 13.

Two weeks ago, the mechanism of the right rear door stopped working, so what sounded like steel wire vervrongen had to be replaced.

Further, no complaints, I have the car an interim overhaul's give plus replace distribution, I was lost for 600 euros incl. Auto loan. That's not very expensive I think.

Oh yes .... remarkable .... there is a hands-free system of Parrot on board. Often when you called, then the car radio telephone mute lingers. Very annoying but what exactly is in it?

Finally. I can still wholeheartedly recommend as a Alfa 159. When I look at what else is driving cars, also currently on newer models, then those 159 still by far one of the nicest.

The Auris driving delicious and also the workmanship and the materials used is very good

In the summer I finally got the email from the fleet manager. I was allowed to look for a new lease. Of course I've looked all around for that time what a good successor could be the Clio.

The requirements were fairly simple:
- Greater than the Clio
- Monthly charges equal to or less than the Clio

My initial shortlist was as follows:
- Renault Megane Estate 1.5 dCi
- Ford Focus Wagon
- Toyota Auris Hybrid

Unfortunately, by great (sarcasm) agreements between my employer and leasing company, both the Megane and Focus simply too expensive. So the Toyota Auris remained. When the Honda Jazz Hybrid struck me.

The Auris driving delicious and also the workmanship and the materials used is very good. But he's again a bit more expensive and the trunk is just small.

Jazz is equally spacious, is very well equipped, drives well, looks good and is not expensive in terms of aggregation, lease ed.
The actual purchase price is for a car in this class quite high. I do not expect that many individuals will go for the hybrid version. The other versions are in fact a lot cheaper and also quite economical in consumption.

After two test runs I made the order for a Honda Jazz Hybrid Exclusive Deep Sapphire Blue.

The Exclusive is standard already full of options (Rain sensor, Light sensor, USB connection, Bluetooth car kit, CD Player, glass roof, electric windows and mirrors, leather upholstery, heated seats, etc.), so there was little extra to add (ex factory).
Options Navigation (too expensive (2000 euros!)) And parking sensors (not needed in a hatchback) I have not checked.

When my dealer visit (de Bois Utrecht - Top Dealer) I was made aware of the Sportmode package. This included 16-inch wheels, a spoiler and stripes on the car. This dealer-option I have ticked without stripes. I found namely something too much (or wrong).

On October 4, I could return the Clio and pick the Jazz in the Bois. After all records have dealt with, I finally got the keys.

The combination of the color Dark Sapphire Blue Pearl and these rims looks in my opinion very good. So far I have had therefore no negative reaction. Also not on the rest of the car.

Since that day I have been sitting on 2,500 km. What stands out most is the peace that gives the car while driving. This is partly due to the CVT (slightly more engine noise during acceleration raft) and the instrument lighting that changes color if driving less efficient (from green to turquoise to blue). Because of this I'm going to ride noticeably quieter.

The engine is smooth enough to carry anywhere good. You will not speak very often full power because of the above reasons. Only when merging onto the highway you will use this real.

The hybrid function is otherwise different from Toyota. The electric motor is in support of the gasoline engine. He will not go fully electric (The Prius and Auris do so). If below 50 km / h constant speed he will pass on fully electric drive. The gasoline engine will remain rotate without fuel injection.
Thus, the separate perception of quiet ride, the Jazz unfortunately.
However, the engine will automatically switch off when stationary.

Other positives:
- Radio
This gives a nice, clear and full sound. Even at high volume creates no creaks. In addition, I also finally include a USB connector that works very well and fast. Though I find it strange that an adapter cable is required to use it.

- Space
Jazz Although it is officially in the same class as the Clio he still offers a lot more space. Both front and rear I can sit well with my 1m82.
Further, the rear seat is both on and folded down. By folding down the seat it goes down so it will create a completely flat load floor. When lockup can eg. A bicycle cross be put in the car.

- The board computer is extensive. You have different views on your current usage and your previous rides.
Also you are in economical driving 'rewarded' with leaves. To the degree you get more leaves it gradually becomes a tree. Not very useful, but funny.
Of course it is also to see which motor for the drive is to the concerns.

Negative points:
(yes, they are there, as are the very small things)
- The vents in the front can not be closed on top of the dashboard.

- Both the wipers front and rear wiping a relatively small area. It is not really disturbing, but it could have been better.

Finally, there is consumption.
This has to be that which most people are interested in it because it is a car with hybrid drive.
Also I am very curious what values make up for practice.
That's why I'm doing pretty good my best to drive as economically as possible. But even with this effort, it is still everywhere average 5.9 liters per 100 km. I expect that this is going to improve.

Briefly:
Spacious, beautiful, comfortable, (relatively) economical and exclusive (the hybrid version will not get much from the Dutch roads).

I'll keep you informed.

(I am also wondering if he is indeed as reliable as indicated in the AutoWeek satisfaction trophy)
MUCH TOO LATE UPDATE (112,000 km)

I was going to update this review more often, but including the dad is the amount of time available for this unfortunately somewhat limited.

The update is so late that the car over again two and a half months will come at the end of his lease contract.

Problems

The last four years have actually been almost flawlessly. I say almost because there is only a beating and there has been a problem with the brakes (or still actually). When light brakes squealing brakes at the front. At slightly harder braking disappears again. The replacement of the disks and blocks solves the problem only temporarily. However, the car brakes still good. So I doubt whether I will go back here.
The rattle is right in the dashboard and is only sometimes audible. It even seems to be audible and disappear depending on how the wind is blowing. So perhaps there is simply something in the air duct. It is therefore difficult to reproduce and thereby again difficult to solve by the dealer.

Apart from these two points, the car has not been without problems. Just every 20,000 km a turn and nothing else.

However, we once had a screw in the tire and also my wife has had a minor collision. But this is obviously not the fault of the car itself.

We have experienced the Jazz Hybrid in the last four years as a comfortable, practical and spacious car.

Comfort

Standard chairs from the Jazz, however, I do not great. The backrest is good, but the seat is simply too short. That's one of the reasons why we have gone for the Exclusive version. It is leather upholstery and instead they occupy Jazz chairs with leather, they just put the chairs out of the Civic (and Insight in my opinion). These chairs fit like a glove. Especially the lateral support here is very good. So if in the test drive the car disapprove on the chairs, take a look at the Exclusive version.

Practicality

The practice is one of the unique selling points of this car. I refer, moreover, not directly on the space, but more on tricks such as: Two decent and accessible cupholders, two glove compartments, rear doors that extra wide open (small handy with children), the magic seats (rear both down and up can clap) and the storage space under the rear seat. Oh and the small lockable compartment under the rear seat is occasionally also proved useful to store more valuables.

Space

Then, as the last, there is the space on board. While this is very good this is of course relative. In the B-segment is one of the largest. However you compare it with an average C-segmentation then it is obviously not the largest lake. It is also the point where you make the comparison. If you compare him eg. A Volvo V40. Then the V40 has a larger trunk. However, look at the area with the banks flat and the available room for maneuver than the Jazz win it again.
I managed anyway to go away for a weekend with four adults, two small dogs and luggage.

Weak points, there are:
- For A broad style
The A style is just very wide and eg roundabouts is therefore careful to cyclists not overlook will see..
- Reach wipers
In the previous section I mentioned this already but it remains a doubtful point for co-drivers.
The windshield is more square than rectangular (because of the shape of the car). However, the wipers go the traditional way (both sweeping them right to left and back again). This has as a result that a large part the upper right is not included. Any passenger exceeding 1m70 will therefore by non blotted piece should look or a little bit to go sit down.
This was to solve very simple by letting wipe the wipers both outward (like eg. The Opel Zafira).
- USB connection
Why must sit an adapter on here before I could stabbing in a USB stick?

Driving experience

Then there driving and consumption. It's a very nice car for the ride. Long stretches are not a problem and in the town he's just very agile and smooth. The CVT gearbox I feel fine and I've never really had a desire to another. Naturally, it should ensure that the engine under hard acceleration suddenly turning more speed. However, almost every car will hereby produce more noise. Individuals who have suffered from this noise should I do to get quieter with the accelerator pedal.

In terms of power, it is of course not a hot-hatch URL But slowly he certainly is not. The only time he really needs to work hard on highways through hilly region (West Germany eg.). But here's to live.
If the CVT is put in S mode and ECO mode he is disabled something float and the throttle response is much sharper. Fast roundabouts bring in this way, in any case, a smile. The downside is that the throttle response even so extreme that I become nauseous after a short time. Therefore, I would recommend having the CVT in D under normal use and the ECO mode. In this way, the car is much quieter and better suited to a calm driving style.

In S mode, you can actually do use the paddles on the steering wheel. Though this is more of a gimmick and adds it does not really something. You're not going by faster anyway. The only time you can use this is useful in eg. A descent and want decelerating.

Then the ride. This is especially very neutral and not challenging. Do not expect sharp knight such as a Ford Focus or Honda Civic. However, there lacks balance in the suspension. Front is this good, at the back it is much too stiff. So careful when thresholds as there are people sitting in the back.

Consumption

The final consumption. Now I have a fairly smooth driving style and includes my commuting not highway. This has the result that I'm around 5.7 a 5.8 liters per 100 km. If I do my best I come to 5.3 and 5.4L. Now I think the bigger wheels and spoiler here also responsible for his (reviews from other Jazz Hybrid drivers have other lower values). In other rides, it is also the speed. At 100 km / h, the car is quite economical. The average Dutch highway but you may 120 or 130 km / h and over consumption soars.
The car is slightly more efficient than the non-hybrid versions of the Jazz. The additional cost of the Hybrid weighs in this area does not challenge the difference in consumption.

Do not think that consumption is the only difference. I recently had with a Jazz 1.2 CVT as replacement transport. While this is certainly not a bad car is feeling the Hybrid still robust and more adults. The difference is large enough to drive separately the two types to the test drive. In addition, the Hybrid is also a lot faster. This is especially noticeable if the battery once it is empty (eg in many urban traffic.). Then you notice clear that much less power is available.

The end

As indicated, the end is near. Although the car is relatively large, we still crave more space. With one small plus luggage and pram (Joolz Day) fits all very good. But over time there is a desire for a second and then it is with that baby there anyway a bit tight (Without stroller would have to pass without problems).

Because I still want to stay in the 14% addition rate (simple question of money), and more room will is the choice quite limited. These include the Renault Clio Estate, TS Toyota Auris Hybrid and the Peugeot 308 SW. Since I want to fall off the Clio still for once a C-segmentation. Toyota is my favorite brand but this has unfortunately taken out of the lease package last year. So then I come out with the 308 SW. As soon as they are I will of course write a review about (and this frequently update ;-)).

After much deliberation and delay in this still a MyReview of this Volkswagen Corrado VR6

Well! Here is a review of a Volvo fan after his 163pk S60, automatic Intro Edition with 150,000 km, 5 cylinder 163 hp V60 momentum winter line 6-speed automatic trades in after 96,500 kilometers satisfied with Bluekens in Oosterhout! Why? 25% discount on a two months 'old' XC60 from Volvo.DE. Plus a good resale value. Car is in terms of accessories fully charged. First impression: get used to a different way of driving. The V60 was sporting. The XC60 drives dynamically with the high seating and visibility. Adaptive cruise control is used to. Engine is a real winner! What a difference, in conjunction with the 8-speed automatic transmission, compared with the 163 hp five-cylinder with six-speed automatic transmission! 1:18 average in the city and 107 km on the clock at 100km per hour, ditto at 120 (127) and at 130 km 137 km on the clock seems achievable engine running at 107 kph 1550 rpm!
Winter + tow bar (7,700 km)

Meanwhile, re-install the towbar Volvo Reede in Amerongen (great service) and velgen.com (Jelmer Fox) in Leeuwarden Segin rims allow diversion with Dunlop winter tires! 17 inches but runs great! Saves 30% compared to the offer of the dealer.

After much deliberation and delay in this still a MyReview of this Volkswagen Corrado VR6. This original Dutch copy was purchased in 1994 by the previous owner and has been in our possession since 1999. By buying was approximately 140,000 km and now we are already almost at the 270,000 km. So approximately 10,000 km to go and we have only driven more with it than the first owner.

According to our information, the car from Friesland and is released in an unknown way at Autobedrijf Colpa in Alphen aan den Rijn. Here is my brother bought the car for 20,000 guilders. A few years ago (2012) I took over the car and it is our second car (in addition to our current Peugeot 308 SW (lease)).

It is a VR6 from 1994. Since it is a Corrado and not a Wave 3, this includes a 2.9-liter with 190 hp (and not 2.8 liters). With that ability just 1161 kg, the car pretty quickly (though everything is relative, of course ;-)). Today, the average hot hatch of course a lot faster, but the average passenger can still continue to.
Now, the handling is very good for a car of that era, but modern cars are in this area a lot better. I would therefore like to call no sports car, but more rapid coupe. Also, the balance weight is not optimal at all. In fast corners you notice that he's just quite heavy in the nose.
Or the car still has the full 190 horsepower is indeed unknown. A dynamometer test, I have not (yet) done and frankly I'm a little afraid of the result.

In terms of comfort, the car as you can expect from a coupé from this time. Not too hard and not too soft. Thresholds are decent to take anyway. However, it must hereby be taken into account for the low spoiler. This will sometimes hit the ground. The rest of the car is not excessively low. The course is very low so it made more than climbs get off (depending on how flexible you are yourself).

Vebruik It is for such an engine still quite acceptable. On average, I always come around 10 liters per 100 km off. On long stretches can be a lot lower. I've even ridden once 7.5 liters per 100 km on a long stretch. This is of course indicating the onboard computer and may differ from the actual consumption.

The maintenance list after 16 years very long, so I will not name anything and confine myself to the salient points:

162.000 km - Radiator replace
171,000 km - Exhaust replace
205,000 km - Head revision and distribution chain overhaul
233,000 km - Car repainted (car had become pink)
245 000 km - Rubber brake hoses replaced
255,000 km - ABS system replaced
260,000 km - replacing Heater radiator
(the whole dashboard had to be dismantled before)

the head and chain overhaul was carried out by the VR6 specialist in Aalten (now known as TVS engineering ). This revision was necessary because the compression was not in order and thus the car sometimes walked on five cylinders. After the revision was happy everything perfect again.

The most recent maintenance was carried out by dealer Heemskerk in Alphen aan den Rijn. This company specializes in these Volkswagen models and can always think along well with needed repairs and maintenance.

The only repair, it is on the schedule at this time is a new outlet. The current is still airtight, but it will not last long. An original is unfortunately nowhere to be found and if you find all over this takes the prize. So the alternatives are imitation or stainless steel. The latter is preferred because such an outlet will last much longer. The downside is that the sound will change and that is exactly one of the most characteristic features of a VR6. A stainless steel exhaust can be quite pricey.
Meanwhile, I can get a second outlet imitation for a decent price, so it will be replaced in two weeks.

Given the car actually is a kind of inheritance, it has become not just a car to me. Personally, I have nothing to do with Volkswagens, but this one is so special to me. Through the years is to become a kind of long-term project of us to keep the car while driving as original. Naturally, here quite a bit of sense when to adjust. If a non-original part lasts longer than this will also be an option.

In 2012 I gave the car to the AutoWeek section 'around the clock'. Nic de Boer seemed a good candidate for this appointment and by TÜV Nord in Apeldoorn was easily made. Here, not overly shocking things came out. The main points were rust (treated with Brunox), poor brake (replaced), moisture in the brake fluid (replaced) and bad tires (replaced). Apart from that it is of course nice to yourself to face with your car AutoWeek it's also nice to even get a complete report of the car about how things stand.

Car sales will hopefully never be addressed (If I'd been doing this must be a real enthusiast and not to someone who provides him right optical tuning, etc.). However, there will come a time when repair is absolutely unprofitable. When this moment will be hope for the time being not to come back. Until that time, the car will conjure a smile every time.
