Car weighs 1800kg so sloppy back quite a bit more than the previous F11 and well over 200kg more than the E61

Well, he seems rather on the previous huh. Yet I have set up all hope on the Xdrive order to get my so ardently desired BMW steering feel. Without this I think it is the much higher cost (ie aggregation) not worth it honestly. Again not test driven so fast showroom and back home.

and yes! same specs and really another car! Steering is back to normal, a lot of feeling and no longer searching for the zero position. No adjustments needed and therefore a relief on the highway. Comes naturally to that four-wheel drive ensures that he drives like on rails. So relieved!

The Xdrive is he does a little higher, I do not like, but it runs finer. Especially when thresholds etc. it graze the front bumper now no longer the case. The planned reduction has been postponed.

What is very striking is that the seats are the same as the previous F11, but feel much better and so are finer. My back is very sensitive to this so pleasantly surprised. The same applies to the HiFi active speakers. These were in the previous one, but now it's better and more sharper sounds. This could have to do with the navi or something? This version is also some newer and faster thereby. I think this is just the way software and immediately a point I really do not understand the BMW dealers; Such cars can still deliver just with the latest map version etc? easy tip to the previous F11 cards still came out in 2011 to distinguish seems so ..! Engine: nice touch is obviously the extra turbo diesel on the 2.0liter. The previous one was nice, but did not really have in comparison with the previous E61 that less kilos had to carry around.
I had not been too much of suggested, but in this area I am pleasantly surprised at the eagerness with which the engine climbs through the speed and especially the construction of power at the top of the speed is delicious. He hangs better on gas and is much faster. The combination with the 8-speed automatic is as it should be. Butter Soft switches it through the back and move at a speed that suits the character of the engine. Gadgets:
as indicated there is still a bit more, not something I would choose, but I can now choose how you like it.
-adaptive lights; This was also the last, and is completely unnecessary unless you live in the middle of nowhere.
-grootlicht assistant; several times tried, but also a waste of money. Works, but on the highway so unnecessary.
-Connected services; spotify now runs through idrive. This is great! as obdurate spotify fan this is a great addition for me.
-head up display: super cute gadget you would think, but in real life I never use it, after 3 months I have noticed that I have to remind me that I can see it all in my windshield.
-Limit info. it costs almost nothing to new order and is very convenient, to the nearest meter turns this system and gives the limit for the part where you drive. Ideal!
-comfort Access: This I would never order, but by now miss as there would be no more. Because the key still nowhere inhoeft BMW to start, it is extremely convenient that you can leave and can end with a finger on the door handle you key in your bag / briefcase. If you keep your finger on the mirrors 2 seconds on the latch hits and will close the sunroof. insert your hand into the door handle opens the car. Not need all that, but you get used quickly.

Best gadget is the panorama; This is really big, opens wide and was again delicious. this had a few cars, and had forgotten how good it is. Lighter inside, especially in combination with the dark sky, and it feels more spacious to. From now again a requirement ingratitude extra kg's.

DEMERITS:
-enige fault I have, I do not belong to the car, but in this case the dealer Dusseldorp. I have never been given a car that polished so bad. Really all seams and cracks down ramvol with white polish. Now, three months later, I have not finished yet. So you can give no car.
-the 20inch rims I find the most beautiful that can be given, but again it damage upon delivery. This while Volkswagen coppers have told me that they always show proper condition before delivery. Blablabla so.
-thick scratch on the navi screen. here the previous owner has deposited his keys or so, but this is so damaged that the dealer can not deliver so I think. BMW Netherlands with its high control requirements and checklists this is not free.
-deukje at the tank valve. After few days I'll be on that side of the car and from certain angle you sit here dent. Missed by the dealer.
ashtray / cup holder squeaks like crazy. Super annoying! Also reported in Dusseldorp, but again no answer. Now put yourself between something so that there is absolute calm on board.

Unfortunately I drive suddenly a lot less, about 7000km in three months, but now enjoy it again every km, I am very happy with the Xdrive which has reduced the steering pleasure again.
