Luckily I was clear enough mind to realize that can not have eternal life an old battery in combination with cold, damp weather. Our Scénic last year had many problems with the injection and EGR valve and the like. 220K like a charm (220 550 km)
Again a long time since the last update ... A long time spent time on the forum, but after reading back my review until now yet again become enthusiastic. Definitely give the number of views over yet again the motivation!
We are now 30,000 km further since the last update and miraculously, the car only get better ride ever since! A long time have long been there no excessive cost to the car (a leak ridden band during vacation after). So I did last summer vacation road trip through Italy of 5,000 kilometers made it. The first 4,000 kilometers are'm gone without a struggle. Unfortunately we were on the way back, just before Switzerland, probably cloudy diesel refueling at a local petrol station. In Switzerland we have therefore had 4x the message that the injection would be faulty, but the engine sputtered not happy. Then in Germany, just as the previous holiday, filled up the tank with V-Power and freude am fahren driven further home. This time we stayed in the night (cool air) tapped 176 on the GPS. With a roof box on top, yet without even one report of a faulty injection. Thus we have the Scénic without the hassle of driving 212,000 to 217,000 km in two weeks.
Now stands' ie a wheel bearing had broken the 220,000 kilometers and recently. Therefore, the brake discs and are equal but replace bearings on both sides. It ended just keeps maintenance to this kind of mileage. Now he rides smoother (read: "smoother") than ever and even the slight vibration from the armrest disappeared.
