The biggest differences I noticed between my performance and the car is the class difference what happens to us

January 14 is my Polo finally delivered, and after 4 months of waiting, this is a pretty good feeling. I have the following version with extras: The 1st 3 hours unfortunately I had a problem with the RNS310, I got no GPS fix. After 3 hours there finally came a signal, and since then I have no problems with it anymore.

However, it bothers me that between the RNS310 & my phone (iPhone4) a pairing adapter is. As a result, some functions are not fully using the RNS310 (A2DP music and phone book in the RNS310). This can be solved by placing between a cheap pairing adapter. Doing in my opinion detract from the interior, I will wait a while until a fix for.

The driving characteristics are in my opinion, despite the 17 "& sports suspension, sublime call. For this I always driven a Seat Ibiza, with a sports suspension and 17" wheels, but heard here and you could feel every pebble on the road and pounded everything in the interior. With the Polo feel it, but everything remains quiet in the car.

The DSG can find me some quick upshifts in the D position, so feels the car drowsy. With a speed of 50/60 you drive frequently in his sixth, whereas if I set this manually, usually is in his fourth or fifth. This makes the car feel sharper and less lazy to. Hopefully this goes a little bit with the running of the car.

Next week, an update with my 1st week, and so the daily mileage.
First experiences after 1st week (1,200 km)

Now a full week had the living & work. Since I for my work to different locations to drive, I can see how the car is when I often stuck in traffic queue or get up touring on the highway peaceful.

My car is always parked in a heated garage, so unfortunately I can not say anything about the start after a cold night. But what I notice is that the car will not start super fast. I think I'm the key should turn around in the morning anyway for 1 to 2 seconds before the motor is running. This I find unlike my leading car (Fiat Punto Evo) striking.

The DSG is 1000KM drive after some finer. Guess I was mainly used to driving in low touring with a gasoline car. In D mode, it is somewhat slow, and it turns very quickly into a higher gear. In the S-Class was very bright, and he sticks fairly high in the rev (3k RPM). What is striking to me that the D position very choppy switched between the 2nd and 3rd gear.

Comfort in the car for me is perfect (self 1.70m long), and driving the sports suspension + 17 "wheels is for me no problem. If you schuinsweg a threshold goes up, then you pretty shaken up, but which was with the Punto Evo is no different.

the heated seats are delicious as it is cold in the car, and keep your body warm as the Climatronic is not heated.

Pros:
- delicious comfort seats sit for my height perfectly. .
- Noise on the highway almost nil
- Feeling in Golf completes the ride.
- Rain sensor is easy to adjust, and does its job well.

Negatives:
- DSG has some crazy disease (fast upshifts, Hopje between 2/3)
- supporting your left the "heck" is quite hard so it leans unappetizing..
- Long time before it starts.

a point of note,
I very quickly felt the Polo drive under me in a quick turn or so. is due to the tires (Continental), or the entire soft power steering, I do not know yet. But my Ibiza always felt tighter on the road (Michelin tires)
Comparative research! (5,250 km)

In recent times some have been silent, but with some having driven more kilometers on the clock + another Polo, there is again something to be up-to-dating.

Firstly I can drive around in my short holiday in Spain in a Polo 1.4 Comfortline (manual, 5-door) and can therefore compare well with my 1.2TSI Highline full options.

The biggest differences I noticed between my performance and the car is the class difference what happens to us. In the car I really feel back to step into a car 4/5 years, everything felt less in quality to. Whether this then comes the Highline has such a high level of quality, or the comfort line just reach the level, I leave in the middle. As for walking on my car 1.2TSI, I spent 5 months in a Fiat Punto Evo to drive, and their quality and feeling was comparable to the rent-Polo.

Everything in the comfort line performance was in a car pack-em-bite € 17k, and it felt sometimes just good at. the RCD210 was easy to operate, the seats were good (but not as deep as the Highline). Also, the 1.4 also runs easily in the rolling road surface Barcelona and surroundings. With a steep climb of 12% felt it at all easy, without having had to chase the car at full speed.

Then back to the car;
The VW dealer has put a new GPS antenna in my car as I was not completely satisfied with the GPS fix on my RNS310. Still it is not 100% reliable in comparison with the RNS510. So does he miss cann't you an exit're not taking, but following the highway. This then takes a 100/200 meter or at some 140km / h before the navigation corrects this. I find this so disturbing or example if you drive around on a busy junction, and need a certain exit (Airport Zaventhem is a good example).

Personally, I am beginning to become more common with the DSG, and my riding what subject to change. With manual drive I notice that you're going to handle a very different way to the gas, then a vending machine. Note also that I have more and more control over the time the DSG will upshift or downshift. In the beginning, this feeling too fast for me, but just to give some more gas at some times, you can keep him here in 5 or 4, so that the engine is what alert. However, still a point of criticism, diverting from 2 to 3 with a hiccup and the stop in N, and then use the D Here you can not directly from brake to gas, because the DSG is as necessary to the gear ready to lay.

exterior;
I'm naturally a polisher (polishing the car an average of 3/4 times a month by hand). But have so far I drive only 1x crops + put in the wash. This weekend I'm so watch the lacquer + wheels are maintained if the car is not washed good 1.5 months;)
