I could not get used to my previous car and got him therefore made out the door

I could not get used to my previous car and got him therefore made out the door, I actually always wanted to have a Polo but could find to have made I did not have a copy yet, after some test runs which I believe technically good condition so I had therefore initially bought a Fiesta because I needed a car. But after half a year began to itch again. I do not know what it was but I had to ride one. After the Fiesta to be sold, I was still against a well-kept copy and took it home.

The engine 1600 cubic centimeters has, in my idea plenty of power, especially acceleration occurs at the traffic lights or overtake and he is so smooth and speed. Really stripes tractor is not but has enough power to move forward quickly. With five men in the car, he comes with the traffic still pretty good even packed a small trailer is no problem even entire bikes fit in the little cart and then the boot lid can still close even

101,000:

The first kilometers went smoothly.
Just a beurtje against it and new oil and tuffs. In the summer I used him really only for short trips as yet no long journeys where consumption can even be properly tested.

103 500: Mileage do

now after the summer makes the car much more mileage because every day I make about 60 kilometers to and get to work. Consumption is very against me because VW writes in the book that he has to pick up the open road even 1 in 19! That's very optimistic. Since I have a lot of highway driving I would be in the neighborhood that deserve to come but in reality I get cramped one at 14
and then not even talked about the roads.

109,000: MOT and through.

The car must for the MOT. Let's see what the damage is. one brake line is corroded underneath and a new 60 euro finished another year.

115 800: Yet another year?

Now more than a year later, I can only say that I am to him as yet not put away. The car has given me no maintenance cost 100 euros this year alone there has been a multi-strap because it became worn, yet not even 20 euros and ready. The car suits me so hitherto very well, he has never leave me. The stories were always told me the bluffs on which car is yours costly and lousy quality in my experience nonsense. It has to do with how the car is kept and how it is handled.

While I was looking for a spacious car (luggage least as big as my current Ford, more space behind given the growing children) with a large dressing.
The Peugeot 508 was in the BLue Lease Premium version on account of the price which came well above the lease budget.
The Golf Highline version came close but with some extra features that eventually came a lot more expensive than the Skoda Octavia. Before confirming your order, I first made a test drive with the Skoda dealer Rotor in Heerlen. In an hour on both roads and motorway I was impressed they ride comfort. The Skoda springs more rigid but is certainly not uncomfortable. And the space is infinite ... to be continued!
The first experiences (1,050 km)Last Wednesday was the day. I could pick my Skoda Octavai at Skoda Center Utrecht. Hidden under the sleeve was waiting for my new Skoda at the unveiling. The seller took the cover off and for the first time I could see the new Skoda in my chosen color denim blue in real life. I find (follow pictures) him very beautiful.
As already noted, I opted for the 1.2 TSI Elegance Business Line Hatchback. Additional options:
- panoramic roof;
- Rear;
- Feature Pack (nettenset, 230V socket and rear sunshade for the rear window).
At my request, the dealer also beautiful stainless steel trim strips pasted on the door sills.

On the way back I immediately make the necessary (highway) kilometers to the south. It confirmed my impression that it is a comfortable car to ride cruising on motorways. Now a days more and thick 1000 primarily motorway kilometers further I can only say that I am very satisfied. The car is comfortable, the 1.2 TSI does fine work as well in the hills, the audio system and navigation do fine work and the 1st tank turn not fell against (avg. Fuel consumption 1 at 16).
The space is huge, both front and back. The luxury such as the heated seats have already proven their worth.

All in all, my first Skoda week really liked.
10,000 (10,500 km)Meanwhile, more than 10 000 km driven in three months time. These are mainly motorway mileage. It Skoda behaves as an excellent touring car. He zooms comfortable on the road. Residential area over thresholds, it is important not to drive too hard, because thresholds have the Skoda less happy.
Pros so far:
- fine lighting (swiveling xenon headlights)
- sound control
- clear cockpit with logical operation
- consumption (see figures)
- space overall
- good seats, seat heater has already proven its value

Negatives
- navigation is far from up to date ;
- Not always correct processing of traffic;
- Acceleration in higher gears.

I have so far seen overall very satisfied with my first Skoda.
Nice car (80,000 km)Just a quick update. Meanwhile I stand on the clock almost 80,000 kilometers. I am very pleased with the Skoda. The large interior every time creates astonishment of my fellow passengers. Fit on the back seat with ease 3 adults. The trunk every time remains astounding. Meanwhile we have some car holidays behind us. Luggage for two weeks can easily to the Skoda. It is ideal car to drive longer distances. He behaves with the 1.2 TSI comfortabal particular he pulls smoothly enough at the higher speeds, it passes quickly on the motorway.
In addition to the regular sessions I've been interim 2x in the garage to refill the oil to make a door that closed not good at.

Pros: space, ride comfort.
Minus: occasionally does the radio navigation system that weird. It sometimes means you have to turn the car completely and have to reboot to the system to reset it were.
In addition, the navigation sometimes gives strange routes at the time that the traffic information has a file on the primary route. The proposed alternative route then takes more time than the original route file!
