Me first car was a Golf 3 of 94. I was a student four times a week internship. So a car was needed as I always did this with the scooter, it purchased from the local dealership.
I had no car sense to know that I had better buy another car, because I was still a student and certainly not liked much money.
Understanding comes with time they say;)
This is because the Wave 3 had already walked 189k and yet it is lived as it were.
After many repairs shortly after purchase and almost every month. (I was also someone who willingly gave gas) the head gasket went after one year break, then decided to bring it to the scrapyard.
I did not feel like to leave things every month replacement or repair.
Toyota Corolla 1.6 G6
I now thought, never a wave. I then went for the Japanese exceedingly strong Corolla 99 1.6 G6 (bin 6 - 110 hp) 124k run time.
Really Corolla always start, which I did with it, the engine always sounded pure. 1 x + replace the auxiliary main clutch because this was an ailment to this type.
Furthermore, some never wore. It also consumes too bad, 1: 12 average. The seats were good (kind of sport seats), everyone thought they sit.
Suspension was a bit stiff but no annoyance, brakes I found a heavy setback, or used oil, every 3 to 4 weeks I had to refill oil.
Car structuring that well, had a good sound. Have ridden here 4 years. Last month gave the car some shortcomings on the 200k.
As the driver side window, sometimes going down / up. Or did not agree. and more of these little things.
Nonetheless sold well.
VW Golf 6 GTI 2011
Because the Corolla had done his duty for me, it was time for something new.
I always liked the GTI what (from the Golf 5) and shared the 2nd place I found the BMW 1 Series M package along with the VW Sirocco also have something.
Have also looked at the Megane RS, but it had to be a five-door and automatic. So Sirocco and Megane fell off.
BMW 1 series I found something dull inside, always the same orange lights, and I thought she got back you voorwat pricey, so it fell off.
After a long search by many different forums about the chain problems + DSG Gulf, have decided that if I buy this one had to be bj 2011.
This is because the facelift with another Kettig and an updated DSG box.
After six months of searching finally found the right car:
The GTI was from 2011 walked around 60k with the options:
• 5 drs
• DSG
• Leather
• Xenon
ranked 1st time to look, I was hooked. I have something small down payment so that the car would be sold in the meantime.
It was a white GTI 2011 with Leds in front and behind, Adidas wheels, Militek exhaust system, stitched leather (in retrospect, this was it made by the previous owner.)
The Kettig was replaced under leniency with the DSG, this was done as a precaution by the VW dealer.
The car was a '' rich '' woman, as 2nd car it used. (All receipts and booklets of course)
So when I knew that this was going to be him, finally bought.
It was truly a pearl car was 1.5 years old and looked like new.
Furthermore, the use was approximately 1: 10/11 Located on the driving course (V-Power) spring / corner location was good but could be better I did, there were Brembo calipers + disks, so that inhibited very good.
Volkswagen inhibits all good standard.
Further notice anything on to, multimedia was good, navigators, air conditioning, heated seats, everything worked properly after.
The DSG always responded very well and quickly. If you want to switch back you can always use the paddles on the steering wheel.
Only thing is, when the car was cold, I started it was that made more noise than usual, this was normal according to the dealer. (Was about 10 sec.)
After the first turn at the VW dealer about 75000km there was a leak in the radiator, the car had a long life in turn. (Cost about 600 euros)
The dealer asked to repair about 550 euros, have yet to do this with the universal dealer for 350 euros.
This was really the only thing I've replaced.
The GTI has real power, when one thinks the traffic light to be faster than they are wrong, (I'm not talking about M3 and AMG etc. before coming reactions) it is really enjoying especially pops when switching!
The GTI will also underestimated by many, it is really a wonderful car, no creaks or anything, including leather sag not beyond my expectation! Never hard drive with the engine cold and always tidy cool down the engine.
When I saw the car I wanted to get in right away and drive, also received many Thumbs of other road users, not to mention the nekkebrekers.
There was an alarm Class III this was sensitive, when a motorbike drove by loud sound than those already went off, but wanted to expand this with a bear lock, I broke me arm when this did not happen anymore.
Three days before I could ride it was stolen again. I can tell you that I have never so bad feels me !!! (Perpetrators have by now been arrested, they had a 5 km radius already stolen several golfs, this was a gang that stole more than 1000 cars)
VW Golf 7 1.4 TSI Highline
I thought again: Well never a Golf.
The search started again, I wanted this time a car with panorama roof / sunroof and mini make 120 horsepower or more.
Less than a car of max. 2 years old, and automatic.
I found a BMW 1 Series 118I, with all the options, back and forth mailed but no sellers mutual interest was out.
When I had a MB A Class 180 found bj 2013, even with all the options. But this was just something off me budget. Also mailed back and forth, but he did not make one penny from. (This was also really pricey)
I had gotten a temporary car from the insurance, this was a Seat Leon bj 2014. I found this very nice, within budget. I was driving this first month, but after that month I was still no seat.
Leather collapsed, multimedia was slow. Not the quality I wanted. But very beautiful, especially the Xenon at the front really made the car off, but no.
Then I was offered a Golf 6 GTI from a friend for a very good price but have due to this deal.
Then I found a yes a Wave 7, it was so beautiful when it came out. Many hesitated to even buy a golf because I was afraid it would be stolen again.
Yet the plunge and start looking. First some research done naturally on car forums, but no real ailments can find on the forums,
only the navi happert in cold weather enja this is true. Doing this about 20 seconds after it's gone.
Mailed back and forth with the dealer, and he was able to make a nice prize which just fell budget within me.
Golf 1.4 TSI Highline Cup Edition, all options except leather, this was not a must for me.
• 5000 km run
• Bj 2014 (car was a half years old)
• Panorama roof (which is really super)
• DSG
Now the question why no 7 GTI? this time were not a lot of sales, and that were me above my budget so sadly.
Many power to hand but that does not express the fun!
At first he is pearl white, this is a really great color, especially in the sun, incombinatie with 17-inch rims and Madrid Panorama roof, he should definitely be seen.
He is equipped with a completely new chassis, which is comparable to a BMW!
Also mood lighting inside is very nice, you hope it stays just dark.
Everything is led, the BI Xenon is superb in the dark (rotates in the corners etc)
He is spicy, sends many times better than its predecessor (he sticks to the road) and is also wider / bigger.
Consumption is so at 1:15 (50 liters), so very pleased. 8 speakers with standard very good sound.
Multimedia is good. You can see everything on the screen, very good pixels too.
Also get a lot of attention and compliments. While there are many other evegoed Wavelets drive.
Have now stand 27000km, and it's almost time for his 1st turn, I can wave 7 are only positive.
Every day I would drive it, he's so solid and good. Every day a party again!
The DSG is still Slightly faster if zn predecessor. Only the only flaw in cold weather is that the navi grabber, but good is not an annoyance to me.
Immediately ordered from a dealer Bear Lock, unfortunately I had to wait two weeks. He is nicely built and gives me a good feeling I if the visa him locked before discarding. (Cost 700 euros)
Or my last Golf 6 GTI would exchange for my current Golf 7, I would keep my current Golf.
Furthermore, I can not say much because I still have to make a lot of KM in order to get a better picture of the Golf 7
If I get a good trade-in price, or to sell him I would get the GTI
