I have searched about 4 months for an Audi A4 Avant 3.0 TDI Quattro which was all wishes in my opinion

I have searched about 4 months for an Audi A4 Avant 3.0 TDI Quattro which was all wishes in my opinion. Because of the limited supply in the Netherlands, and two cars that I have seen and very very disappointing, yet further examined in Germany.

I get most of my cars from Germany, have good experiences there, the Germans take good care of their cars, do not scrimp on maintenance and reverse counters is punishable. In the Netherlands, the latter sometimes before, and since I have the necessary knowledge and equipment to check this, cars are with me quickly.

After a long search, there were only 2 x Audi in Germany which were totally enjoying myself. The car that I've finally chosen is perfect for me. All but then all the options that were available to sit on this car. The best (and most useful), I find myself:

-Distronic: Adaptive Cruise Control
-Hold assist: never hold more brake in traffic or traffic light
-Electrical trunk lid
-B & O sound system
-Panorama roof
-Standkachel with remote control.
-Heated Seats and rear
-SD card for MP3
-Keyless entry & keyless-go (super convenient)
-S-line package + Sport seats

options out there to sit but I use less:
Reversing Camera (am used to the PDC)
Electric adjustable seats (comfortable, but if you've got set up, use it almost never)
F1 paddles on the steering wheel (do not use this)
Drive Select: I almost always on comfort

Automatic transmission
Audi offers three different automatic transmission that they deliver on the A4:
- Multitronic (ie, CVT, comfortable, economical and problematic)
- S-tronic (aka DSG / twin clutch)
- Tiptronic (traditional automatic with F1 circuit)

this subject, already written enough, so I'll keep it short. My choice went for the Tiptronic because these are the most reliable, and by far the strongest. Multitronic is designed for comfort and low consumption (I had this in my previous A5) and indeed turns very lazy, the DSG switches quickly but also have the necessary problems. In addition, DSG a limit on the couple that they can handle the conventional Tiptronic can more torque and thus comes in the 3.0 TDI.

All my Diesels are chipped, the A4 has enough reserves and went from 240 horsepower to 298PK and 600 nm. Another advantage is that the engine "still" quieter running because it now makes less revs at the same speed. Driving 120-130 and come just above 2000 rpm ..... For the tuning was on from 2100 to 2200 rpm. The VMAX is also disabled and I once 260km / h is clocked.

Moreover, I am a quiet rider, I almost never pull hard on the car, alone on the highway, I think it's nice to drive by. The extra power I so sporadic. But it is wonderful to have it ready under your right foot.

Consumption I love a sharp eye, I drive 60% in the city and 40% highway and get on average between 8l (quiet) and 9l / 100km (smooth) out. Not really frugal but for a heavy car with 4 x 4 and 19inch I find it acceptable.

Just went by car to Austria, winter tires had a limit of 240km / h, so could not harder. I really enjoyed the adaptive cruise control, hardly can do without. System works flawlessly, automatically keeps your distance to the vehicle in front of 30km / h to 200km / h.

I have no complaints some had with the car, brake pads and oil changed, and bought a set of winter tires.

Only downside perhaps this model is that the space for the rear passengers, which is limited

Finally that time again, after several years without cabrio 'done', now still another one at the door. Here, the choice fell on the Opel Cascada. For me one of the most beautiful convertibles at this time. Being a car is there, we found the price for a BMW 2 Series or Audi A3 (which I find very pretty) still be much for something. In addition, the Opel is a size bigger and it comes in handy because we're often want to take the kids on our rides. Well chosen a 1.6 because it's still a decent weight to be put 'in motion' (1633kg). The 1.4, which I still know well from my Opel Zafira Tourer, it would perhaps be a bit too short here (although I read other reviews /'ve seen with the 1.4 would still be sufficient). Furthermore, in my opinion a very nice blue color and all possible options.

The Opel Cascada bought Opel tribe in Bilthoven. The few points that I noticed (some minor damage and curb damage to the wheel rim) are very neatly trimmed. During the episode marked the seller still that was a cover in the trunk damaged and handed directly to this new will buy. For me, helped tidy and comfortable with this dealer.

The car is really delicious. He turns very smoothly and the capacity is just right. No streaks trigger "but just looking smooth. He is also very comfortable and despite the 19-inch wheels certainly not adjusted bouncy or punishment. The thick steering wheel further gives a good feeling through. The options on it are also very welcome. The seat heating is occasionally still officially in winter, very pleasant and a favorite with the kids (if they sit in the front) .. Now after a week away very satisfied and very happy to have made this choice. Even though some very sunny days have contributed positively to this.
